Preparing your first visit

Read the event description and check the access arrangements. Bring weather-appropriate clothing and a notebook. This fictional station does not accept real bookings.

1. Meet the workshop host at the entrance.
2. Review the observation route and access needs.
3. Check your equipment with a partner.
4. Record the date, time, and conditions before starting.

Review your notes while the visit is fresh. Mark anything uncertain and retain the original entry when making a correction.
